Tim your pictures blew me away! It is about time I get on here and check things out. You seem to be doing very well! Your pictures are beautiful and your stories are even better! I am going to be going to Portland tomorrow to help Chris move in but when I get back I would LOVE to catch up, so I will drop a line then, a long long e-mail? Umm…what picture was specifically for me? the one of Dave playing trumpet? oh how i miss that boy and those lips that play the trumpet so beautifully:) how am i supposed to know which picture it is…there are SOOOO many!!! and i love them. helps me feel connected:) enjoy your last few days in Portugal!!!

2. Midgees operate in swarms of the thousands and are tiny like nats so you can’t just smack them. You breath them in the get in your hair they crawl on you like a cross between chiggers and super tiny mosquitos!! By the MILLIONS!!!
3. Forts….Why not!

5. Depression can be especially in the winter when its dark all the time and not just most….a lot like AK

I don’t know if these have been here long, but I just figured out how to look at all of them.
Questions …
Who is sitting on the ledge?
In what way is a midgee worse than a mosquito? I don’t know how they can be worse!
Why the forts in the library?
Whose back yard?
I want more details on lots of these, so don’t forget ANYTHING!
Is depression a big deal in Scotland? It is dark a lot it seems.
Where is your schoolmate from to have never been in snow before?
I have more, but I need to go protect the darling children from one another : ) I love you, Mom
